Whether you’re spending Valentine’s Day with a partner, friends, children, pets, or by yourself this year, there are multiple opportunities to have fun and dress up! These are my top two outfits I’ve put together for this year.
1. Pink
Pink is a gentle, sweet color that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day (or weekend). The mainstay of my first Valentine’s outfit is a pink velvet dress with a little black purse and matching black open-toed heels. I added pops of pink to the outfit with my makeup, sunglasses and nails. I didn’t need a jacket because Miami is warm even in the winter. However, if it were colder, I could also wear a coat that matched my purse and shoes.
2. Black and Red
This is the darker, and perhaps more alluring outfit that I’ve planned for this Valentine’s Day. Black is a color of elegance and power. It is one of my favorite colors to wear, because I find it to be universally flattering. The mainstay of this Valentine’s outfit is my classic black jumpsuit. I think black with red is a bold color combination, and one that I feel is perfect for Valentine’s Day. Red is a color of love and passion, and of course, one of the classic colors in theme with this holiday.
I accessorized my jumpsuit with red stilettos, red lipstick, a red purse and red nails. Lastly, I completed my outfit with my deep amber-red pendant necklace. If I were in a cooler climate, I could also opt for a red coat to complete the bold red and black themed look. A look like this will be sure to get you attention this Valentine's Day!
